Based from home, residing in the Gloucester area to support our growing services and long term contracts in this region; we are seeking an experienced Building Fabric Engineer to join our team, on a full time basis.

You will be delivering Planned and Reactive multi-site maintenance and repairs across our region and be used to traveling between sites as a mobile engineer. We are looking for candidate with experience within commercial environments, personable, with good communication skills with the ability to maintain productive and enjoyable relationships with customers. Experienced and be fully able to carry out a multitude of tasks within your core skill set/s

As a guide, the role will suit an experienced carpenter and should expect other building related tasks including repairs to doors, tiling, plastering, flooring and general carpentry, basic plumbing etc.

Some key requirements:

  • Work efficiently to ensure all works are completed in a safe manner and to current Health, Safety, Environmental regulations
  • Carry out reactive repairs, replacements, improvements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns or other engineering problems
  • Accurately use equipment and quality processes required by the business.
  • Support the wider team as and when requested

This position comes with a high specification fully racked company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, retail discounts, healthcare, great team support, above industry average hourly rate and paid annual leave and a safe enjoyable environment to work in.

Salary range for this role is £23,920-£30,160 depending on experience and qualifications
